Yah Is Cleaning House: Chastisement for the Sons and Daughters

With the exposure of many pastors and celebrities today, some might see this as a negative event. However, it is a positive one. It is not about the exposure of their sins but about the opportunity for them to repent and be cleansed, preparing us all for the time to go home. All of what we see today is to be expected if a Second Exodus is to occur.

Hebrews 12:6-7 (KJV): 6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. 7 If ye endure chastening, Yah dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?

While some may rejoice in the exposure of sin, it is important to pray for our brothers and sisters. The Most High (TMH) is cleaning house to make them acceptable in His sight. Many today have a form of Godliness but deny its power.

2 Timothy 3:5 (KJV): "Having a form of Godliness but denying its power.

Have nothing to do with such people."

In this passage, Paul warns Timothy about the behavior of people in the last days.

"Having a form of Godliness": This refers to individuals who outwardly appear religious or pious, engaging in activities and rituals that seem devout and faithful.

"But denying its power": Despite their outward appearance, these individuals reject or do not experience the true power and transformative effect of Godliness. They may perform religious duties but lack the inner spiritual life and genuine relationship with Yah that brings real change and power.

"Have nothing to do with such people": Paul advises Timothy to avoid these individuals because they can mislead others and negatively influence the faith community by presenting a false representation of Godliness.

Contextual Understanding:

  • Warnings of the Last Days: In the broader context of 2 Timothy 3:1-9, Paul describes the difficult times in the last days, listing various negative traits such as being lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, etc.

  • Contrast with True Godliness: The contrast is between those who merely appear Godly and those who truly live out their faith with the transformative power of the Holy Spirit. True Godliness involves an inward change that manifests in outward actions consistent with Messiah-like character.

Application:

  • Discernment: Believers are called to discern between true and false representations of Godliness, looking beyond outward appearances and examining the fruit of someone's life.

  • Focus on True Godliness: Believers are encouraged to seek a genuine relationship with Yah that results in a transformed life empowered by the Holy Spirit.

  • Community Integrity: Maintaining the integrity of the faith community by avoiding those who pretend to be Godly but deny its true power ensures the community remains strong and authentic in its witness to the world.

Yah is cleaning up His people and restoring them.

There is often a physical and spiritual renewal following a period of judgment or discipline.

Ezekiel 36:25-27 (KJV): "I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws."

Yah promises to cleanse His people from their impurities and idolatry, giving them a new heart and spirit, enabling them to follow His decrees and laws faithfully.

Jeremiah 31:33-34 (KJV): "This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel after that time,” declares the Lord. “I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. No longer will they teach their neighbor, or say to one another, ‘Know the Lord,’ because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest,” declares the Lord. “For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more."

Yah speaks of a new covenant where His law will be internalized within His people. They will have an intimate knowledge of Him, and their sins will be forgiven and forgotten.

Isaiah 1:18 (KJV): "Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the Lord. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool."

This verse emphasizes Yah's willingness to cleanse His people from their sins, making them pure and clean.

Joel 2:25-27 (KJV): "I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten—the great locust and the young locust, the other locusts and the locust swarm—my great army that I sent among you. You will have plenty to eat, until you are full, and you will praise the name of the Lord your God, who has worked wonders for you; never again will my people be shamed. Then you will know that I am in Israel, that I am the Lord your God, and that there is no other; never again will my people be shamed."

  • This passage speaks of restoration after a period of devastation. Yah promises to restore what was lost and to remove the shame from His people, highlighting His power to redeem and renew.

Zephaniah 3:17-20 (KJV): "The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing. 'I will remove from you all who mourn over the loss of your appointed festivals, which is a burden and reproach for you. At that time I will deal with all who oppressed you. I will rescue the lame; I will gather the exiles. I will give them praise and honor in every land where they have suffered shame. At that time I will gather you; at that time I will bring you home. I will give you honor and praise among all the peoples of the earth when I restore your fortunes before your very eyes,’ says the Lord."

This passage conveys Yah's joy in restoring His people. He will remove their shame, gather them, and bring them home, giving them honor and praise. All of this must occur before we leave Babylon.

Isaiah 43:18-19 (KJV): "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland."

Yah encourages His people to look forward to the new things He is doing, signifying a fresh start and a new chapter of restoration and renewal.

These passages collectively illustrate Yah's commitment to purify, restore, and renew His people. His promises of forgiveness, internal transformation, and physical restoration demonstrate His enduring love and faithfulness.

Do not think that TMH would allow us to live in sin while Babylon is about to be destroyed. Those who have a heart for TMH will be corrected before we leave for the second exodus. Those who stay in their sin may be taken away with the wicked. Praise TMH for His mercy and loving kindness in giving us the rod of correction, and pray for those who are feeling Yah’s chastisement.

Interesting information. I have an issue with the ancient church in Lalibella, due to the large cross etched in the stone. Ancient Israelites didn't use crosses as a symbol. Teotw please elaborate on this. Love & Respect in Messiah.
